Ogres

Ogres are huge humanoids, often between 10' and 15' tall, that can be found primarily in hilly areas. They are stocky of build, and while they are largely hairless they do sometimes have a horn or horns.

They are itinerant, often having ranges of a hundred miles or more with no fixed residence.

Ogres are dense creatures both physically and mentally. They tend to hyperfixate on single tasks, such as chasing a deer or following a butterfly. Unlike giants and trolls, they are not creatures of instant violence. In fact, unless an ogre is actively hunting, it will more than likely ignore any creatures in the area that aren't the thing it's currently focused on. Even direct attacks on an ogre will often result in confusion until the ogre realizes first that it's even being attacked, and then which direction the attack is coming from.

That's not to say ogres are safe creatures to be around. When an ogre is hunting, it's unstoppably determined, and will fight ferociously to obtain its meal.

Although far from intelligent, and rarely using tools more complex than clubs, ogres have been known to wear pelts torn from larger prey.
