Goblins
Goblins are by far the most intelligent of the demititan races, but also the least physically imposing. Ranging between 3' and 4', goblins have tapering, almost rodent faces, withlarge pointed ears. They are naturally gifted traders, and enjoy a plutocratic society where fortunes and power often change rapidly. Goblin trading centers dot the souther coast of the [Rowhard Sea], supplied by caravans that trade up and down the west coast of the [Vilyet]. The [Human Empire] and the [Western Kingdoms] represent most of their customer base, with human ships bearing goods back and forth across the Rowhard. The Goblin Home Nations north of the [Shapash Jungles] also do extensive trade with humans across the southern tip of [Hiberon].
Goblins are very precise with their language.
Goblins are honest traders, to be anything but is seen as a great personal failing among Goblinkind. They never sell shoddy goods without disclosing their low quality, will always share the provenance of their wares if asked (and known), and they never provide less service than they promise.
However, while a Goblin is nearly bound to give 100% truthful information, they rarely volunteer 100% of the truth. It's often said that what a goblin doesn't tell you is the most important part of the deal.
In addition to their trade and diplomatic skills, Goblins are also master weavers. Goblin-made clothing is delicate and ornate, requiring constant maintenance, making it a natural exhibition of their current financial status and thus their standing in goblin society. Goblin fabrics, being far finer than those that any human can produce, and are prized by human tailors. One fabric, however, known simply as Goblin Red, is never traded, and is reserved only for the richest of goblins to wear.
